Privacy Policy

Millionaire Mode ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Millionaire Mode mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you use the App, you may provide us with the following information:

  • Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier, name (if you choose to share it), and email address (which may be a private relay address provided by Apple). We never receive or store your Apple ID password.
  • Onboarding data: During the onboarding process, you provide answers to personalisation questions including your motivation, current professional path, income bracket, financial goal amount, timeline, strategy, perceived obstacles, and commitment level.
  • Financial goal: Your target amount, deadline date, and a description of how you plan to achieve your goal.
  • Daily actions: The actions you create each day, their completion status, any blocker reasons you select when an action is not completed, and optional notes.

1.2 Information Generated by the App

  • Coaching tips: Personalised coaching guidance generated based on your daily actions and financial plan.
  • Streak data: Your current execution streak and longest streak, calculated from your daily action completion history.
  • Authentication tokens: Short-lived access tokens and refresh tokens used to keep you securely signed in.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect your location data.
  • We do not access your contacts, camera, or photo library.
  • We do not collect device advertising identifiers.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not collect any financial account details, bank information, or payment card numbers. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide the App: Your account data, financial goal, and daily actions are essential to deliver the core functionality — goal tracking, daily action management, streak tracking, and progress reviews.
  • To personalise your experience: Your onboarding answers and financial plan are used to generate relevant coaching tips and tailor the App experience to your situation.
  • To generate coaching guidance: Your daily actions and financial plan are sent to a cloud-based AI service to generate personalised coaching tips. This data is processed in real time and is not stored by the AI service beyond the request.
  • To manage your account: Your authentication information is used to securely identify you and protect your account.
  • To manage subscriptions: We store your subscription status to determine your access level. All subscription billing and payment processing is handled by Apple — we do not process payments directly.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, specifically Amazon DynamoDB, hosted in the EU region.
  • All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
  • Authentication is handled via JSON Web Tokens (JWT) with short-lived access tokens (15 minutes) and refresh tokens (30 days) that are automatically rotated.
  • We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
  • Some data (such as your onboarding answers and authentication state) is also stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage, which remains on your device and is not accessible to other apps.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • AI coaching service: Your daily actions and financial plan details are processed by AWS Bedrock to generate coaching tips. This processing happens in real time, and the AI service does not retain your data after processing the request.
  • Infrastructure providers: We use AWS to host our backend services and database. AWS acts as a data processor and is contractually obligated to protect your data in accordance with their privacy and security commitments.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the App.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings on your device (Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions).
  • We receive and store only your subscription status (active/inactive) and plan type — never your payment details.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: You can view your personal data (financial goal, daily actions, streak history) within the App at any time.
  • Correction: You can update your financial goal (target amount, deadline, and strategy) from the Profile tab in the App.
  • Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab in the App. This action removes all your data from our servers and is irreversible. Please cancel your subscription through Apple before deleting your account.
  • Data portability: You can request a copy of your data by contacting us at the email address below.

7. Data Retention

  • Your account data, financial goal, daily actions, and onboarding answers are retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Refresh tokens expire automatically after 30 days and are removed from our systems.
  • When you delete your account through the App, all your data is permanently removed from our servers. There is no recovery period.
  • We do not retain any personal data after account deletion.

8. Children's Privacy

Millionaire Mode is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data is processed and stored on servers located in the European Union (AWS EU region). If you access the App from outside the EU, your data will be transferred to and processed in the EU. By using the App, you consent to this transfer, processing, and storage of your information.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
